The Brinell hardness tester is one of the most widely used instruments today. Many times, people find that there are some when using it. So, what are the solutions to the faults of the Brinell hardness tester?

1. When the key switch is pressed, the hardness tester does not work but has a buzzing current.

The cause of this fault is that the motor is missing phase. Check whether the power supply is normal, whether the power plug is inserted correctly, whether the cable is disconnected, whether the power switch is intact, whether the motor wiring is connected, whether the motor coil is burned out, whether the contact of the reversing switch is good, etc., and the situation should be ruled out separately.

2 The loading speed cannot be controlled within the specified time.

The loading speed is too fast or too slow, mainly due to the viscosity of the reducer oil being too small too large. Clean the reducer and replace the reducer lubricating oil.

3. The Brinell hardness tester repeatedly loads and unloads.

The of this fault and the elimination methods are: (1) The push rod of the button switch is too long, and the A, B contacts of the reversing switch cannot be from the A1, B1 contacts. The length of the push rod should be adjusted and fixed; (2) The reversing switch mounting position is improperly swapped, the movable stop plate cannot touch the pin on the reversing switch, resulting in the reversing switch not changing direction. Adjust the mounting position of the reversing switch.

4. The Brinell hardness tester is turned off after loading is completed.

The cause of this fault is that the contact of the reversing switch is burned out resulting in a poor contact. The contact should be cleaned and polished or a new reversing switch should be replaced.

The above are the solutions to the faults that occur when the Brinell hardness tester, and I hope they can help you.
